Sweet short term rental in Rockport

Lovely hilltop unit located on private wooded property, steps away from 2 beaches. Built on a massive granite boulder, the property is one of kind with stunning seasonal views of the Atlantic. Fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV, WiFi, and everything to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. We're a 7 minute drive from downtown Rockport and Gloucester, a 7 minute walk to Cape Hedge and Long Beaches. The space Originally built as an in-law suite, this cozy unit includes 1 bedroom with queen size bed, 1 bathroom with shower/tub, fully applianced kitchen, a sunny deck with teak bar that seats 6, and private entrance with 2nd outdoor patio space that includes a propane grill and outdoor dining set that seats 4. There is a smart TV in the living room and free Wifi to access all of your subscription services (Netflix, Hulu, Apple+, etc.) The unit does not offer a telephone land-line or cable service. We are pet friendly and will consider 1 dog as an additional guest with advance notice. Parking for 2 vehicles. Guests have use of the entire apartment. The fireplace is for decorative purposes only and is not available for burning wood. Other things to note: We are a family of 4 (with elementary school age children) who live above the unit. If you are seeking a location with zero noise, this may not be the unit for you. The ceilings in this unit are on the lower side, if you or someone in your party is very tall, this may not be the unit for you. We provide all bed linens, towels, hand soap, dish soap and the kitchen is fully equipped. Be aware that this being a house rental we do not offer body soaps or shampoos like a hotel would. The unit is typically cool however, we do install an A/C unit in the bedroom window during the summer months. There is no A/C in the living area but a tall occilating fan is available. The fireplace is for decorative purposes only and is not available for burning wood. Guest access The shared space on this property is the laundry room, located in the basement of the garage. We are happy to show you how to access the space upon check in. The unit DOES NOT have a washer/dryer located within it. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: The ocean view from this unit is SEASONAL, usually Nov to April. During the summer and fall months the view from the deck is akin to being in a treehouse, secluded and surrounded by lush tree cover.
