A simple home away from home for anyone visiting NW IA. We welcome you to enjoy our accessable first floor layout- no steps getting in & a big bathroom to move around in. Both bedrooms are right next to the bath. We have a little front porch perfect for morning reading in the shade. Our backyard is flanked with trees for privacy and has fun, kid-friendly options as well as a picnic table and fire pit. The custom-made dining table comes with 6 benches and is more than 9' long! The space There is a keypad entry to get in, skylights in the kitchen and big windows in the great room which make our home bright and airy most of the time. Our living room area is perfect for playing on the floor, relaxing on the couch, reading, or chatting. The newly tuned piano waits for anyone who likes to play! We have tools for the fire pit, outdoor blankets, and our favorite bug spray if you want to be outside. A few indoor games for the big dining table are ready for time inside to cool off or during a rain storm. Guest access There will be room for some parking on the driveway or at the curb on our quiet street. We have a front porch with glider bench and rocking chair. Our adventurous backyard includes sandbox with toys, fire pit with removable grill cover, lawn chairs, swing set, rustic playhouse, climbing wall and big tractor tires to climb. Other things to note Our sump pump water empties into a large black bucket in the backyard, which we use for watering the garden. There is no need to be alarmed at the sometimes surprising sound. If you have toddlers, just know to keep them from dunking themselves.
