Authentic cabin in Walland Forests beside a gurgling creek, just minutes from Townsend & the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a perfect place to rest & relax. 1.5 miles from river rafting, also just a mile from Friday night world renown bluegrass music at the community center. The cabin sleeps 6 and has a 2 night minimum stay. The cabin features a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a king & queen sized bed The loft sports a queen size futon. TVs & internet. Disney+ & ESPN+ The space Located on a creek, relax after cooking a meal on the outdoor grill, with the table and chairs on the upstairs deck adjacent to the soothing waters. Large 55" Smart TV in Living room and smaller smart TVs in the bedrooms. Decorated for the outdoorsman, it comes with high speed internet for those that must stay connected. Granite countertops in the kitchen, and bathrooms. Both bathrooms are tiled with glass shower and bath doors. Stacked washer and dryer are available in the cabin. For added ambience, a fireplace is in located in the living room, and in addition there is a superb sound system that may be easily connected to any of the bluetooth subscription apps. Filtered water is provided under tap in the kitchen and ice in the refrigerator. Cabin is located on the tip of a 34 acre tract and an on site manager-fixit maintenance man lives next door. Ultraviolet sanitizing follows a thorough cleaning after each use. The AC unit has an ionizing system built-it to kill mold and viruses. A six person hot tub is available for on-site enjoyment. Children's booster seats and baby gate available upon request. There is a back-up generator in case of any power failure. Treehouse may be rented with the cabin. Adjacent to the cabin is a treehouse suite that includes a kitchen and bathroom with a large deck overlooking the creek. It will be available to rent with the cabin or as a separate unit. It was designed primarily as a couple's get-away. Infrequently, a treehouse guest may request the use of the washer and dryer located in the basement of the cabin. This space is generally off limits to all guests and is different from the washer and dryer located inside the cabin. Other things to note Check-in is at 3:00pm. Check-out is at 10:00am. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable, especially during the winter. Guests should be prepared for travel in the event of snow and ice. Guests should realize that the cabin is in a woodsy, mountain setting and occasionally will encounter insects, reptiles and other creatures common to the area. Please keep a close watch on any children. Any booking confirms understanding of any notes and rules. Extra $50 for pets by permission only. Check in instructions will be sent two days before arrival.
