Known as the Peerless Room, this romantic second-floor space features a Queen bed, corner gas fireplace, and private bath with a Jacuzzi tub. Located in the Carriage House of our historic property, this room offers luxurious amenities and privacy, just a short walk from downtown Lenox. Enjoy daily full breakfast, A/C, HDTV, Wi-Fi, and access to our heated pool (seasonal, Memorial Day - Labor Day). Professionally managed by Hampton Terrace Inn. The space Originally built in 1897, the Carriage House was completely rebuilt in 2000 to provide guest accommodations. Set on the same property as the famous Hampton Terrace Inn, which was owned by some of the wealthiest families in the U.S. and was one the first of the "Berkshire cottages" to host guests. Guest access In addition to your private room and en-suite bath, you will have access to the common living room in the Carriage House and first-level common areas in the main building of the famous Hampton Terrace Inn, where the daily breakfast buffet is served. Please note the outdoor heated pool is only open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Other things to note The fireplace is gas and the bed has a down comforter. We do provide free parking on-site, and there are a plethora of fantastic restaurants that you can easily walk to in downtown Lenox.
