My place is for long-term guests staying 1 month or more. Your own room and private bathroom on the 3rd floor of a townhouse. Room comes with full size bed, nightstands, dresser, a table with two chairs, small TV with chromecast. No kitchen access. Amenities: two mini fridges, microwave, toaster, electric cooking kettle, Air Fryer, tea kettle and coffee pot. Laundry in your own room (but shared with owner). You need a car to stay here- there is no public transit. **Guests will be asked to agree to house rules before booking. Please read all info below before booking** You are renting the 3rd floor of my townhouse- it has a private bedroom with your own bathroom. No main floor kitchen access but you have a small kitchenette in your room. This place is for one person only. No overnight guests. The owner (Helen) lives below you in the bedroom below. The private bedroom is fully furnished with a full size bed, dresser, bookshelf, lamp, microwave, toaster, two mini fridges, Air Fryer, cooking pot, tea kettle and coffee machine. There is also a foldable table with two chairs for you to sit at by the window. There is a small TV with a brand new chromecast for your streaming. The place is in a residential neighborhood with many condos and apartments on a large private road that is 2 miles from the freeway. I do have a 20 pound senior dog named Mia who is super sweet and friendly and will want to say hi to you when you walk in. She’s pretty quiet. No smokers, please. No shoes in the house. No doing laundry between hours of 9pm and 9am. Since laundry is in your room I will be coming into your space to do laundry - I will ask what your work schedule is. My place gets professionally cleaned between guests. And also my cleaners come every two weeks so your room and bathroom gets cleaned frequently during your stay! A note about temperature as there is no thermostat in the room: The room is on 3rd floor which means heat rises and it tends to run on warm side. I have central air but it’s probably around 70s with AC on. There is a large box fan in the room for your comfort. If you are someone who struggles with heat in summer time, my room may be too warm for you. Guests only have access to private room. I will always be available by text. I generally let my guests have privacy and give you lots of personal space. You won’t see me around much. Quiet adorable area of Weymouth! Minutes to Derby shops in Hingham. Also 5 min drive to Stop and Shop, Shaw’s, Whole Foods, Walmart. 2 miles to 93-entrance. About half hour drive to downtown Boston when not in traffic. Please note: a guest has falsely said on a review that the unit is next to a freeway when it is not. The unit is on a private residential road with at least 4 speed bumps and a 20mph speed limit. The street has many condos and new apartment buildings but it is 2 miles from the closest freeway which is 93. It is near a high school and you will see kids walking home from school. You will need a car but 8 minute drive to Weymouth commuter rail. 12 minute drive to Braintree MBTA station. Check out time is 10am and anything after that will be a small fee. You are responsible for your own toilet paper and laundry detergent. If you bring a space heater in the winter, I ask that you split the utility bill with me since it drives up the heating cost significantly. (For example, Feb 2022 the heat bill was $700 so I would prob recommend most people to save themselves some money and not bring space heater :)
