Our colorful house is centrally located in the heart of the 7th ward. We love our sweet neighborhood and we are sure that you will too! Walk to Esplanade, bike to the quarter! :] The space The apartment is at the back end of our house. You will have your own entrance and key that you may feel free to come and go from at any time. There is a double door that separates the main house from the apartment but it will be locked at all times. We have a beautiful fully private back court yard that we share with you as well as our Moroccan Textile Business and Sarah's art studio. You have your own private back deck with chairs and a small table. The apartment is a open studio that does not have a kitchen. It includes a big airy, light filled room, with exposed original beams. A plush super comfy queen sized bed, a sitting area with 2 mid century chairs and a coffee table with a lamp. There is a sweet little wireless speaker that you can plug your phone into for streaming music. The bathroom has an art deco cast iron tub, shower, toilet, sink, and a beautiful baby blue penny round tiled floor. There is a mini fridge stocked with a glass container of water, 2 local beers, & some cream. There is a kettle, an assortment of teas, some locally roasted coffee, sugar, & honey. A place to hang your clothes, a full length mirror, a table for your luggage, an iron and ironing board, hair dryer...We will leave you a mini guide of New Orleans best spots that you might not otherwise find and are available for any questions you may have. Guest access Guests will have full access to the courtyard. They will have their own private deck and have full run of their private space. We want you to feel at home.
