This gorgeous 1 bed, 1 bath apartment has everything you need to enjoy the greater Yellowstone area in style. Front porch views of the mountains, friendly farm critters frolicking, and a full kitchen for cooking provide the perfect secluded getaway. Whether your day takes you to Yellowstone or the ski slopes of Big Sky; everything you need is right here! The bottom floor of our home is its own private apartment. With 10 foot high ceilings, 4 foot windows, and a walk out porch you will feel like you're staying in a penthouse suite and not a basement apartment. The bedroom has dark curtains and a new memory foam mattress, which makes this a great place for anyone who loves a good mid day nap! The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans and dishes so that you have everything you need to make a cozy home cooked meal. The living room is spacious and has a pull out couch with a full sized mattress, meaning the space can accommodate up to 4 people. Limited WiFi is available through a hotspot for all your browsing needs though it does not support streaming of videos. We have included a selection of movies for you instead that you are more than welcome to watch on the tv during your stay. This is a farm and we are early risers so be prepared for sounds after 7 AM. This space has its own private entrance from the porch. You will have the entire space to yourself for the duration of your stay! One bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen (that is fully stocked with all the cooking and dining utensils), and a cozy living room with a pull out couch. Space is accessed through a glass sliding door. IF YOU DONT HAVE 4 WHEEL OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE WE DONT RECOMMEND BOOKING IN THE WINTER. Our driveway is a steep hill and slippery during the colder seasons. The owners live upstairs and you will undoubtedly run into us when we are outside caring for the farm animals or taking a walk. We are just a quick message away if you are unable to find us on the grounds and will respond in a timely manner through the app. If there is anything you feel the rental space is missing please don't hesitate to reach out and we can loan you something from our home to use. We do spend a lot of time off site in the summer and may not be present if you book with us during that time but we will make sure to respond to your questions in a timely manner regardless of our presence on or off the property. Just 15 minutes from downtown Livingston, our property is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to all the local restaurants, grocery stores and bars. We live on 10 acres that we share with many different animals (both domestic and wild) so there's always something to see or do right out your doorstep as well! The entrance to the apartment does not have a way for you to lock it from the outside so if you are concerned about theft in rural Montana we recommend that you choose somewhere else to stay. The locking mechanism works no problem from the inside so you can lock yourself in nice and cozy when you are home but just know that there is not a way to lock it when you are out and about. Our driveway is long and private and we promise leaving the door unlocked does not endanger your property (or ours) in any way. You will need your own vehicle to access our property. 4 wheel drive is not necessary in the summer but we highly recommend it in the winter. Or if you have rear wheel or front wheel drive in the winter, the use of chains would be best for getting you up our steep driveway. We have goats, horses, chickens, and livestock guardian dogs who live outside full time protecting them all! We do ask you that you please do not approach the animals inside the fence without us present. There are other dogs and cats free roaming the property that you will undoubtedly come across, so if you don’t like dogs and cats, this probably isn’t the place for you.
