*THIS IS A STEP ABOVE CAMPING* The 1950s beach cabins location is priceless including 300ft of private beach, looking straight into the Vineyard Sound and the Elizabeth Islands. My is it gorgeous! The space This is the sweetest little cabin. We do provide many games, a well equipped kitchen and some beach toys. Linens and towels are NOT provided. For your convenience there is a company that will drop off and pick up all linens needed. Please use this website to REQUEST and RESERVE your linens takemmycleaners (website) There is a full fridge a convection oven and hot plate. Poland spring water is provided for the entire stay, we ask you to not drink the water (this is a 50s beach cottage). There are two sets of custom bunks, 1 queen bed and 1 full bed which allows the house to sleep 8 people comfortably. A gas grill is provided. Guest access The whole space is yours! Other things to note Unique features of the Cottage: *No WiFi is provided* however you can hook up to a hot spot through Verizon or AT&T. No cable TV (you're on the beach!) There is a small tv with a dvd player provided Yes, ONLY an outdoor shower - who doesn't like looking at the clouds and stars while showering?! Please do not drink the water - Poland Spring water is provided. The cottage is VERY secluded- located down a dirt road and on the western end of the island. There are no shops or restaurants that are walking distance (just the beach)! A/C is a window unit,2 fans are provided. Toilet tissue is provided and we ask you to please use what we provide as our septic is sensitive You will need a car. TICKS are in-fact part of the island eco system. Check for TICKS! "ticks and their larvae are normally found on the edge of woods, fields and anywhere with tall grass, making the Island — and particularly remote Chappaquiddick and Aquinnah — a prime breeding ground for the larvae" -Vineyard Gazette **** WE DO SPRAY FOR TICKS BI-WEEKLY**** We cannot control the sighting of ticks, we can only do our best to minimize them, which we are diligent in doing. Poison ivy is around the property - all decks and walkways are clear of poison ivy, however if you choose to walk through the tall grasses or dunes surrounding the property you will encounter poison ivy.
