Follow us on Instagram @menemshacottage The space Three bedrooms and three full bathrooms (third bathroom is finished-basement level) plus an outdoor shower make our cottage the perfect size to spend a vacation together with family or friends. A living room with a tv, sunroom for lounging, and a large deck overlooking the lawn ensure everyone has a place to enjoy the day or evening. Other things to note Here’s how we spend our perfect menemsha day (without ever getting in the car): - coffee and breakfast at home out on the sunny porch or in the sunroom. We’ll often walk down to the Menemsha deli for fresh croissants as a treat - pick up sandwiches at the Menemsha deli (you can’t go wrong, best sandwiches on the island), fish sandwiches at the galley, or lobster rolls at larsens and walk to menemsha beach for the day - when you need a break from the beach, grab a soft serve ice cream from the galley, or a treat from the Menemsha Texaco - head home to shower, we prefer the outdoor shower in the summer, but the upstairs oversized soaking tub is wonderful as well, and perhaps take a quick nap or curl up in the sunroom with a book. - around sunset grab a cold bottle of wine or beer (if that’s your thing) and walk down to larsens to pick up a few dozen oysters to eat while you watch sunset down on the docks or at the beach - for dinner, pick up some fresh fish and fire up the grill for a family style dinner either out in the porch or in the vaulted ceiling dining area. - cozy up in the living room for a movie, and head to bed :)
