The space Pull in the driveway and catch your first glimpse of the house and its gardens. This ''Main House'' occupies the front half of of our 3-acre compound. Enter on the main floor where an open living/dining room and the fully-appointed kitchen are only separated by the central fireplace. Outside there is a deck on one side and a patio with a firepit on the other. A bright open staircase leads to the top floor where the exposed beam construction really shines. Mind the sloped ceilings! A hallway at the top of the stairs leads to two bedrooms and a light-filled bathroom with a deep clawfoot tub and separate shower. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other two twins. Both have modestly sized walk-in closets. Go back downstairs to the sunny walkout ground floor where French doors open into the gardens and the outdoor shower right around the corner. This cozy space with terra cotta tile floors has a brand new very comfortable and easy to operate queen-size sleeper sofa. The downstairs Family Room is home to the entertainment center, including stereo and Roku TV. There is a laundry room and separate 3/4 bath. This space is the most flexible for accommodating your needs. We've designed it to be used as a private bedroom suite with its own entrance and/or a multipurpose family room. Additional important details: - We provide linens, including beach towels. - When you arrive, the kitchen will already be stocked with coffee, tea, cream/sugar, olive oil, and a basic selection of spices. Up-Island Cronigs and the West Tisbury Farmer's Market (Saturdays 9-12 and peak season Wednesdays, too) are both nearby for all your essential grocery needs. - We provide basic toiletries and cleaning supplies that you may use as needed to make your stay comfortable and easy. - We are conscientious about waste, so we try to make compost and recycling easy during your stay and will be glad to answer any questions about our system. Guest access Guests have access to the Main House and surrounding garden on the front half of the property.
