Location is 169 Ocean Street Marshfield. My place has great views of ocean from every room. You will have the whole house to yourself. You’ll love my place because of the wrap around porch from which to view 180 degree view of ocean, walking distance to restaurants, markets and clubs, sandy beach 100 meters, fishing from Brant Rock, and the historical houses all around, one of which is the one you will be staying in. Friendly people in neighbourhood. Businesses are open all year round. The space 1907 built Victorian style beach house for summer use by Boston families. Brant Rock was built as a summer gathering place which once sported large hotels overlooking the rock. All houses on this section of Ocean Street, called "the high road' date from that era. A large yard is perfect for cook outs and parties. Parking for many cars is a plus and also a must as there is no parking on Ocean Steet. There is heat and air conditioning. Full outdoor shower for after beach rinsing & showering! Winterized. Air conditioning in summer but seldom needed due to sea breezes. If it’s cold you can gather around the electric operated fireplace in the living room, still with great views of the town and the ocean. Guest access You have the whole house and large yard, except garage. Four bedrooms (one of which converts from sun room, see photos) and full bath upstairs. Living dining kitchen, sunroom, half bath/laundry downstairs. Other things to note Wireless is provided as is basic cable. Wireless name and password are on the wall in sunroom. Central air conditioning provided but its almost always a better idea just to let the sea breezes through. Thats why boston region families would park their families here all summer. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Parking is abundant for six cars (tandem rows of three) in rear yard.
