First level (2nd floor) has the living space (kitchen, dining and family rooms). 2nd level (3rd floor) houses all 4 bedrooms. The home still has original sash windows that function as doors. Our kids think they are great - so do we. This feature definitely gives us a perspective of Cape May history. The house has the original enormous 3 story original mason/brick fireplace (converted to gas for safety), front door to enter the main house and a few windows are still originals. Even though the house is fully renovated down to studs, the home still has ‘history’ and ‘charm’ of a historic home. 2021 Summer bookings will resume around September timeframe to give priority to repeat families. Beach Avenue block, that is parallel to our block, is the most photographed area of Cape May. You park and walk everywhere. Guest is responsible to bring towels and linens. We have plenty of pillows and blankets. The home is a corner property, 1 block to the beach. Due to the amazing location, both 2nd and 3rd floors have ocean views (including 2 ensuite bedrooms on the third floor). The front door is is circa 1860. Foyer is shared with 3 other separate homes. There are 2 designated off-street parking spots behind the house.
