This is a modern condominium conversion of an historic telegraph building (originally built 1883) done about 10 years ago, just after Hurricane Katrina by noted architect Marcel Wiznia. Original art throughout the building and in the unit by local artists. Comfortable bedding and linens, Nest thermostat, 4k smart television with premium cable and Netflix, high-speed wi-fi. Entire condo with full sized kitchen and private bath. Lobby area, rooftop terrace with grilling area, fitness room. My cohost lives nearby and is always available if needed. Guests may call or write me anytime with any question or concern. Neighborhood is safe to walk at all hours. Directly on St. Charles streetcar line. Rideshare to and from airport $28, taxi $36 for up to 2 people, Parking garages a block away, usually charge $25 per night. Metered street parking in front of building. The condo is on the streetcar line (trolley). While most guests consider this a feature, a few are bothered by the sound. The condo has window soundproofing and there is a white noise machine for light sleepers.
