This is insured outside of Airbnb and is included in your nightly rate. *The Cottage is Pet Friendly! (Dogs only, maximum of 3.) Pups will be charged $25 per night, per pup, with a maximum fee of $250 total. The pet fee(s) will be requested through the Airbnb Resolution Center if not disclosed in the booking. Guest access Feel free to stroll around and take in the landscape. You can relax in the patio areas around the pond near the front homes, and enjoy the decks, bridges and walkways around the lagoon. Feel free to bring your poles and bait and fish in the Lagoon (but please catch and release only!) And if you walk to the back of the property, you will come to a hill that leads down to a bluff overlooking the Little Bogue Falaya River. Take a right and walk further, and you have access to enjoy to riverbank itself. There are often sandy white beaches where you can sit and enjoy the very best of Louisiana nature! Other things to note The property is quite secluded, yet three short miles from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Covington! Sleepy Lagoon is perfect for small weddings, family reunions, retreats, and small events for an extra fee. There is another home on the property that is not listed on Airbnb. sleepylagoonla. You will see a "Management Fee" of $38 charged to your booking. This covers your insurance policy for throughout your stay issued through Safely. You will be covered for up to $10,000 in contents coverage for any accidental damage, as well as up to $1M in personal liability coverage. We do allow dogs for an additional pet fee of $25 per dog, per night (with a cap of $250). Please inquire when requesting to book! The property backs up to the Bogue Falaya River and we have a small sandy beach for you to enjoy! You are also welcome to explore all 30 acres of Sleepy Lagoon and enjoy the decks, seating areas, fishing, etc. We provide dog friendly amenities such as water/food bowl, shampoo and towels, treats, a large kennel (upon request), hair and stain remover, leash, waste bags, and an extra large blanket for pups who like to be on beds/sofa. :)
