The home has been completely renovated in 2018 and everything in it is new. There is huge72' dock with deep water access via boat. Bring your boat and kids and swim, ski, fish and boat in Lake Pontchartrain or there is a pontoon boat available for rent on boatsetter (Slidell, La) called the Odyssey. Fuel not included. The lake is a 3 minute boat ride from the dock. There is a large deck that has seating for eight and extra chairs for overflow. The home is 5 minutes from some of the best fishing in the country. You can even fish right off the dock in the front yard. There is phenomenal fishing in the Rigolets nearby with incredible salt water fishing and access to fresh water fishing within 20 minutes by boat. You can play in the water or on the boat all day and hit the French Quarter and Bourbon Street at night for great fun and partying like no where else. You can catch an Uber, Taxi or drive. Great from two couples or a family. There is a sleeper sofa for over flow sleeping in the living room. The home has a nicely stock kitchen with all new appliances. There is a large oven and large stove. The home has a large working fire place and nice dinning area facing the water. Great for family get together and large meals. This home is suitable for then 8 adults and 4 children. There are beds to sleep 12 including the sleeper sofa and 2 sets of bunk beds. OUR HOME CANNOT BE USED FOR PARTIES OR EVENTS OF ANY TYPE. If you would like to rent additional kayaks we can supply for 150 per kayak per trip. The home has 1 king beds, 2 queen bed, 2 sets of bunk beds and a queen sleeper sofa. Other things to note The Slidell area is located very close to the New Orleans city limit (3 miles) and is close enough for an easy 25 minute drive on I-10. There are a number of great restaurants within 5 minute drive. There are three malls within 10 minutes with major shopping opportunities including a brand new outlet mall.
