Our one bedroom apartment is perfect for couples or friends here to spend time on the water. The apartment is adjacent to our popular three bedroom making it the perfect place to host a crowd. The huge deck is ideal for star gazing on a clear night or relaxing anytime. Like all of our units, our one bedroom apartment is nicely appointed with everything you'll need for a great time including a full kitchen, full bath, free WiFi, flat screen TV and all of the comforts of home. The apartment is very cozy and comfortable with stove, microwave, and coffee maker. Lots of windows with nice view of the yard. A shared deck that connect to a three bedroom apt that is also available. The entire apt is yours to enjoy. We also have bayou frontage for you to enjoy, woods, a pond and access to water if you have a boat. We love doing special things with and for our guests. We've done authentic cajun meals, done private tours of the marsh on our surface drive boat, connected our guests with right off the boat seafood and more Just let us know or we can suggest ideas. We are in a quiet rural community but just 15 minutes from town. There is a Dollar General store a few minutes away that stocks all of the essentials - even groceries. Best to have dinner in Houma unless you plan on cooking or want us to cook for you. If you love fishing, we are at the center of some of the best fishing in Louisiana. As a rural community there is no public transportation per se. There is a bus but you have to call for pickups. Best to have a car when you come. We are very near the estuaries of the Gulf of Mexico and therefore our buildings are all elevated. It makes for a nice setting but you will have to take the stairs.
