Gregg House is a 5 bedroom 2 bath home sitting atop a bluff overlooking Megansett Harbor & Buzzards Bay beyond looking west towards the most amazing sunsets. The space Plenty of room with 5 bedrooms and 2 baths. A large place outside in the grass to play croquet and plenty of space on your private beach or on your dock to enjoy the summer as kayaks and sailors pass by. This is a wonderful chance to enjoy a summer retreat of yesteryear w/ large kitchen with stainless steel appliances, ample dining room with large break-front displaying early 1900s architectural detail & living room with fireplace. Tons of games and books to enjoy as you get away from it all, or sit at the table in the enclosed porch and catch up on work w/ your wifi-connection. A wonderful location - a quiet private setting with multiple restaurants - some a half mile walk (epic oyster and prime time pizza) and some around a mile (daily brew, bucatinos, deans sandwich shop, silver beach pizza and seafood, and irish goodbye pinthouse). Shining Sea Bike Path starts 0.7 miles from the home. Guest access The owners will meet you at the property and walk you through the use of the boathouse. Other things to note With very few exceptions, rental is from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter terms are only considered within a month before the arrival. Beds will be made and towels will be provided. The beds are: one king, two queens in different rooms, two singles in the same room, and one full. Pillows and blankets and coverlets are provided. Laundry is available. Small boat rentals (kayaks/SUPs) are available locally and previous tenants have had them delivered or have brought their personal boats. Access to the water can be made via a walk down the stairs or visitors can be dropped off at the bottom of Homer Ave or small trailered boats can be launched via the town boat ramp at the end of County Road and tied off at the boathouse.
