Almost "down by the river side" (blue room)

We're about 10 miles/30 minute drive from Seaside Heights and Island Beach State Park, which is truly the jewel of the Jersey shore -- 10 miles of pristine beach. About an hour south is Atlantic City. Our house was built in 1923 and is two blocks from the Toms River which is the main attraction for us personally. In a four-block radius are the post office, little library branch, ice cream parlor, large CVS, the guarded river beach, a park, a great diner and 3 other excellent eateries. The space The guest space is upstairs and has an almost-private entrance. The two guest bedrooms share a bathroom which, in addition to the usual equipment, has a one-person jacuzzi tub and a bidet. Guest access You're welcome to use the kitchen and its equipment. There's a pot of coffee on every morning, tea is available, and there are eggs, bread, butter and milk in the fridge for your use, as well as oatmeal. In the summer, you may use our beach passes (4) for the river beach along with beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and sand toys. If you are traveling with children, subject to "first-come-first-served", we have the following equipment for your use: a pack-and-play, a toddler cot, a crib-sized mattress, a portable single bed, and two single floor mattresses, and a booster seat with tray. During your stay We're both retired and active, and we live in this house year round. (Gail has lived within 5 miles of our current house since 1989).
