Built new after Hurricane Sandy our beach house, is the third house north of the Manasquan Inlet, NJ. Walk out the front door to the beach and swim in the ocean or go surfing or fishing. All new appliances, spectacular views from three porches/balconies. Wi, fi, tv. Watch the boats go through the inlet from the master bedroom bed. Spectacular sunrises from the east and sunsets from back balcony. Great for families or romantic get aways, maybe for a honeymoon retreat or family reunion. The cottage is up on pilings which adds to spectacular views of sunrise and ocean. Interior has tiled first floor, hardwood second floor, large tiled bathrooms; kitchen has all new ss appliances, quartz counter top. Has the feel of the old cottage (destroyed in Hurricane Sandy) with modern conveniences. Air conditioned and heated for year round living. The strippers are running now (Nov-Dec) and you can see the seagulls chasing them along the inlet and right in front of the cottage. Watch for whales migrating along the coast as well. Decorated with family memories and comfortable furniture for a relaxing stay. Guests will have entire house as well as access to garage and storage underneath house for beach chairs, surf toys, bikes to ride on the boardwalk or to town. There is a separate, apartment over the detached garage that could also be rented for larger families. (see separate listing on this web site) Owners will be either at the apartment over the garage (separate rental for two) or available by cell phone. Local manager also available in town. The south end of the Manasquan boardwalk is a family area of the beach. You can watch the boats go into and out of Manasquan Inlet, which is the start of the US Intracoastal waterway system. We are about 30 miles south of New York City (by boat!). The town is a safe place to walk or shop and dine out. 'Beachfront' is about 1 mile from the NJ railroad system that goes into NY. There are local taxis, but a private car is recommended. We are about one hour drive from Newark, NJ airport EWR. The Manasquan boardwalk runs between the cottage and the beach and is open to the public. Since the house is up about 10 ft. on pilings you still feel like you are in a private zone. Four beach badges are provided to used while visiting. (required by the town during summer day time hours). Kitchen security camera is turned to OFF when guests are present. Guests can also unplug the machine if they prefer. All linens, towels, pots, pans everything but your own food and clothes are here. Coffee, teas, basics like spices, napkins, paper towels here for your use. The washing machine and dryer are also handy to keep your own clothes fresh. No pets allowed due to allergies of owner and other guests.
