Enjoy this grand gathering house with great flow and enough rooms for all the beach lovers in your life. The home is situated between two of Cape Ann's most coveted beaches, Long Beach and Good Harbor Beach. As an added bonus the home is a moment's walk to an ice cream stand and pizza shop. Beamed ceiling, paneled walls, and wood floors throughout provide period detail and create a traditional cottage vibe. The first floor includes an open concept kitchen and dining area, a bathroom with stand up shower, a large living room with lots of seating, and a cozy den with fireplace. Laundry is also located on this level. A separate fridge is available in the basement for guest use. There is a finished, enclosed 1st level porch washed with natural light that opens onto a large exterior patio perfect for outdoor grilling, dining and lounging. Out back of the house is an outdoor shower to get all that sand off from your beach day! The 2nd level features 8 bedrooms and another full bath. Two of the front bedrooms room have distant ocean views. The four central bedrooms have central air. The rest of the bedrooms cooled by window units. (Portable ac units are placed as of memorial weekend and removed in early October). Aerie is a perfect spot for your groups fall visit to Salem as well. We are close proximity via train or car! The name Aerie means an elevated, secluded dwelling and this home is just that. This near 100-year-old beach cottage is perched above Thatcher road making it a quick walk to local beaches. Items to note: -We leave enough toilet paper/paper towel to get your groups stay started. We will leave you the required city trash bags. Should you need more they can be purchased at any local grocery store. -All bed linens/bath, hand towels are included. Beach towels are NOT provided. -Bookings between end of June and Labor Day require a week's stay. Check in/out is Friday/Friday. -Please note that we do not allow large unruly parties at the property due to proximity of neighbors. Excess numbers of guests or visitors are not allowed. We take respectfulness for our neighbors very seriously. Violators will be asked to leave the property. If your group cannot adhere to this, please do not book. *Our cancellation policy is firm and we cannot honor requests for refunds outside our cancellation policy for reasons related to illness, accidents, weather, wedding cancellations or any other change of plans. We encourage guests to purchase an outside insurance policy to cover them should they need to cancel their booking. Thanks for your understanding! Guest access All areas of the home are open to guests minus the garage area. Other things to note While we hope you enjoy the property to its fullest we ask that you please respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum. Large outdoor parties or events are prohibited on the property. Excess number of guests in the property is not allowed. Noise complaints after 10 pm quiet time will be forwarded to police. Should you violate this your reservation will be cancelled and you will be asked to leave. If your group cannot handle this we ask you not to book.
