Sea la Vie is located on the access waters of Lake Pontchartrain in the New Orleans suburb of Slidell - an easy 27 mile drive on I-10 into the French Quarter but safely located in a family oriented, kid safe, residential neighborhood. You are 25 minutes from Bourbon Street and the French Quarter as well as the River-walk and all the fun in downtown New Orleans. The space You can play in the water or on the boat all day and hit the New Orleans French Quarter and Bourbon Street at night for great fun and fine dining like no where else. Great for two couples or a family. The home has 2 king bedrooms, 1 queen bed in the children-only loft, 1 set of bunk beds and 1 twin bed in the bunk room, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sleeps 11 people (2 children in the loft). The home has a nicely stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances. There is a large double oven, a large cook-top, an over the stove microwave, dishwasher, and a side-by-side refrigerator with water, cubed and crushed ice in the door. Sea la Vie has a large working fire place and nice dining area (seats 10) facing the water. Great for family get together and large meals. A wet bar in the living room provides access to a half sink, granite counter tops, cabinetry for stemware, and a wine refrigerator. Water lovers. Both king bedrooms and the entire living space have direct views of the water. A gracious deck wraps the entire back of the house. It contains two different seating areas - each with a three-tier umbrella, a copper-topped coffee table, and seating for 4. Families love that our entire yard is safety fenced and gated. You cannot access the water unless you unlock the gate. Please exercise extreme caution with young children around water. The Odyssey pontoon boat is available through Boatsetters (Slidell). The home is 5 minutes from some of the best fishing in the country. You can even fish right off the dock in the front yard. There is phenomenal fishing in the Rigolets nearby with incredible saltwater fishing and access to fresh water fishing within 20 minutes by boat. Spectrum high speed internet with WiFi enabled Smart TVs are in the home. All TV service is via WiFi with streaming video on Smart TVs. Please note: This home is for residential use only.
