The space Grom's Hideaway is a charming cottage nestled in the heart of Kuau Point, the last little neighborhood outside Paia(a 5 min drive), as you head out towards Hana on Hana Highway. Grom's has 3 bedrooms (king, queen and two twins) and 1 Bath with an indoor and a Very Private Outdoor shower. All bedrooms have A/C units for the moments when the lovely trade winds are not blowing through. The living room and kitchen rely on fans and trade winds. There is a full kitchen, living room, Dining Table, Cable TV, Wireless Internet to enhance your time. Grom's can accommodate a MAX of 6 people. Grom's Hideaway is family friendly, free standing house with its own entrance off the street with a gate that closes to provide a contained. The neighborhood is quiet with little traffic. 2 cars can park easily in the driveway. In the lovely grounds around the house, there is an outdoor BBQ, Lounge chairs, picnic table and Outdoor shed with a private washer/dryer unit. Mama's Beach with its protective reef and ocean pool are a few minutes walk. Beach chairs, towels are provided with your stay. If you want a little more wave, Grom's is surrounded by great surf for the experienced surfer - Ho'okipa, Mama's Break, Tavares and world class Wind and Kite surfing and (wing )foiling breaks are all along the North shore or take a down winder. Explore the sport for the first time or learn about the local surf spots from someone who knows the ins and outs of each location! We can assist you with advice on where to go or rent a board. Just ask! Grom's is an authentic cottage home. There are fans throughout the house and the trade winds provide a nice cross breeze, but please note, the middle of the day can become warm. Maui has a humid, tropical climate. Our best suggestion is to take a dip in the amazing ocean to cool off if it becomes too much! ** We do not spray pesticides. The geckos are friendly. The cottage is very clean, but bugs exist in the tropics and may present themselves occasionally. Guest access Grom's Ohana is a stand alone cottage with a its own driveway, private street access and yard. Other things to note ~ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY ( yard and driveway included) ~ If you want an authentic Maui island style experience in one of the coolest neighborhoods on the North shore, this is the place.
