Hale Kephart is close to beautiful white-sand beaches, restaurants, whale-watching, and golf courses. Guests love this house because of its attractive and comfortable ambiance, its extra amenities, and its breathtaking ocean and mountain views. Hale Kephart is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and large groups. It is located conveniently 20 minutes from Waimea, 20 minutes from Hawi, 50 minutes from Kona-Kailua and 90-120 minutes from Hilo (depending upon traffic). The space The house is laid out in such a way to offer privacy to those who want it, yet it provides a great deal of community space both inside the house and on the lanai. Guest access Guests have complete access to the house, the lanai, and the surrounding yard. We ask that they not tamper with the WiFi settings, the electrical inverter for the solar system, and the irrigation system. We also ask that guests be mindful of utility costs and not leave fans and lights on when they are away for the day. Other things to note The closest supermarket is 15 miles away, so guests may want to plan to stop at Costco, which is three miles south of the airport, before heading north toward North Kohala.
