Welcome to our internationally acclaimed and regionally featured cottage located on Lieutenant Island in Wellfleet, MA. The Cottage has a Flowing Open Floor Plan with the Living, Kitchen and Dining Area Opening onto a Large 38'X10' Outside Deck with Panoramic Views of Cape Cod Bay, Great Island, Jeremy Point, Billingsgate and Wellfleet Harbor. It's a Very Cozy Two Bedroom Cottage with a Full Bath on the Ground Floor. There is One Queen Bed in the Master Bedroom and Two Twin Beds in the Guest Bedroom. There is a Pullout Sofa-bed in the upstairs living area for additional guests. Beautiful Antique and Unique Reclaimed Teak Floors are Throughout the Cottage. There's also a Wonderful Outdoor Hot/Cold Shower with Bay Views. A Stainless MHP Gas Grill, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Internet (Verizon WiFi Hot-spot), Direct TV, Beach Chairs, Toys, Reef Walkers and Board Games are all Included. There is also a Kayak with Paddle, Boogie Boards and Life Jackets, available for use (Signed Waiver Form Required). Guests are rresponsible for LINENS, PILLOW CASES and TOWELS. However, we can accommodate with linens if needed. They are Available through a local rental agency or from our cleaners. Pets are Welcome (See "Other Things to Note" below). 4 PM Check-in/10 AM Check-out. Monthly, Multi-Weeks, Weekends, Nightly Rentals and Special Requests are also Available. Please contact us for a quote. Guests will have complete access to the cottage. We are available in person if needed and for assistance for any of your needs either locally or by telephone. The waterfront cottage is uniquely set on the very northwestern tip of Lieutenant Island with unobstructed waterfront views. Public bus pickup/drop off is available at the intersection of route 6 and Lieutenant's Island Road. The Provincetown ferry and airport are less than twenty miles away. The Hyannis airport, train station and bus terminal are about thirty miles from the cottage. Boston and Logan International Airport are less than two hours away. There is plenty of parking available at the cottage. * Pets are welcome. There is an additional "pet fee" of $195 per stay. Please let us know if bringing a pet(s). Well behaved, housebroken, flea/tick treated, and well groomed are requirements of all pets. Out of consideration to all guests, pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds (there will be an additional cleaning surcharge if this consideration is not adhered to). * Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage. Considerate smoking is permitted on the deck and property with proper disposal of all evidence. * The bottom granite stairs to the beach may at times be slippery due to seasonal algae growth. Please use caution. * The cottage is on Lieutenant Island and is accessible from the mainland and route 6 by crossing the wooden bridge and causeway. The causeway is affected by high tides when above 10 feet (average high tide). Add a hour for every foot above the 10 foot average. Example: A 12 noon high tide of 11 feet would have water on or crossing the causeway from 11 am until 1 pm. A tide chart with the causeway details will be included in the "welcome package". * Waterfront Location: There is swimming off of the granite stairs at high tide, an exposed beach at mid tide and vast tidal flats at low tide for walking and exploring. * The cottage is equipped with Mitsubishi mini-split AC/heat. * Also, during the winter months (December to April) there is a "Winter Maintenance" fee of $150/stay offsetting additional costs for the cleaners, plumber and heat/electricity during this season. * As previously noted in description, guests are expected to bring their own linens, pillow cases and towels. If needed, they are available through a local rental agency or from our cleaners. * Rates are usually current and accurate through the calender year. Rates beyond the calendar year are subject to change. Please feel free to inquire or confirm a quote prior to a reservation or instant booking.
