All-season Berkshires ski resort condo - Sitzmark
Stay at the Jiminy Peak mountain resort near renowned museums, music, dance and theater in the beautiful Berkshires. You'll be steps from swimming, hiking, aerial adventures and thrill rides. Meals are easy with two resort restaurants, a country store and a fully equipped kitchen. Spend your days at Tanglewood, Hancock Shaker Village, Mass MoCA and other nearby attractions. Then relax on the deck or in front of TVs in each room. Return for skiing in the winter with a fireplace for extra warmth. This family-friendly 850-square foot condo can accommodate up to 5 people, with 2 bedrooms, 1 queen, 2 twins and a cot. A full bathroom adjoins the master bedroom. A 1/4-bathroom contains the washer and dryer. A full kitchen and outdoor grill provide what you need for cooking. Games, puzzles and three TVs offer plenty of entertainment. Park right in front of the condo. Walk to the resort's ski slopes, restaurants, rides and zipline. The closet in the twin-bed room is off limits, but there are hooks for hanging clothes. Co-host Renee is available to help when needed. The condo is part of a popular all-season resort with skiing/snowboarding in winter and a roller coaster, alpine slide, giant swing, zipline, hiking and swimming in summer and fall. It is centrally located in the Berkshires, just 14 miles from the world-class Clark Art Institute, 16 miles from Hancock Shaker Village and about 20 miles from Tanglewood and Mass MoCA. An easy drive to shopping and restaurants in Lanesborough, Pittsfield, Lenox and Great Barrington. Ioka Valley Farm, selling maple products, is just down the road. The condo is in a 1-story, 5-unit building with parking right in front. It is within half a mile of the slopes (not ski-in, ski-out). You will need a car to get around the Berkshires, but not to get around the resort. It's a short walk to the Country Village swimming pool, the John Harvard Restaurant in the Country Inn, Christiansen's Tavern, and the ski lifts and mountain activities. Restaurant hours and activities at the resort vary by season. Check the Jiminy Peak web site to learn what will be open during your planned visit. You may bring one well-behaved dog. Otherwise no pets. Only Duraflame-type logs, not firewood, may be used in the fireplace.
