Kayak and fish right from the shore, or nap in the hammock or porch swing that overlooks the private pond on property. Relax and take in the silence of nature. The space Welcome to Dockside in Falmouth. With expansive views to Martha's Vineyard on a tranquil and private half acre lot, this is Heaven on Earth. Bring your own boat and spend the days exploring the miles of the Cape's most beautiful coastline, or cruise over to the Vineyard for lunch, *note (8 ft bridge). We also have 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, and a paddle boat you can use to explore Green Pond, or travel down to the beach at the end of Green Pond. The house is on a quiet tree lined dead end street off Rt 28, yet is close to everything. We have a 1/2 acre lot with a huge yard overlooking the water, with lot's of room for outdoor activities and fun. Horseshoes, Cornhole, Bocce, Croquet, Lawn Darts, and fishing rods available. Enjoy a bonfire by water in the fire pit area, or use one of the four beach cruiser bikes available to explore the neighborhood. We have an outdoor seating bar on the deck for waterfront dining from home, and a magnificent sunset cocktail hour. Our fully appointed and spotless home has all the needed amenities. The first floor has a well stocked kitchen, a small office, and a combined dining and living room with an open floor plan with wall to wall windows for amazing views. Plus a master bedroom with a shared main bath. There are 2 more sun filled bedrooms, family room, full bath and laundry room on lower level, plus a sofa bed in the family room. Beautiful hardwood floors are throughout the house. It’s tastefully furnished with a nautical Cape Cod feel, no detail has been overlooked. We offer all appliances including a new washer-dryer, and a gorgeous new outdoor shower. We have high-speed internet, Xfinity 1 TV, a Bose Stereo for entertainment, and also dozens of popular and vintage board games and puzzles, plus a selection of books in every room. There is a window AC in the main level of the house, window AC in master, and a ceiling fan, or a regular fan in each room. Our house is close to the many beautiful Falmouth Beaches and the epic Shining Sea Bikeway. Falmouth Village and Mashpee Commons are a short drive away, and just minutes to the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. The best part of Falmouth is that it's a year round town, it's always open. *We keep our boat on the dock during the summer months. *You can bring your boat for a separate dock fee. *8 foot bridge clearance to Vineyard Sound **Pets MAY be considered for a separate pet fee of $100. Must be pre-approved, and we do not allow multiple dogs. **We do ask you to please leave the house clean as to save on charging for an extra cleaning service. ** ALL Rentals after July 1st are subject to the new Lodging Tax. State & Local Taxes in Falmouth MA are 13.45% ** We are sorry, but we are unable to accommodate large gatherings, weddings or reunions. Six (6) people max.
