Enjoy the farm atmosphere in Southern Iowa. Bring the whole family to our quiet, spacious, basement apartment overlooking our pond. Relax on the back patio while the kids enjoy the playset and sandbox. Or enjoy a picnic down by the pond with table, fire ring with grille and free firewood. As the sun sets, enjoy the unique night sounds that only come with a pond. Whether you use one bedroom or three, we rent to only one party; the living space and the bathroom is all yours, with private entrance. The space Hosts occupy the main floor, while the basement apartment is all yours. Hosts may occasionally need to enter basement (upon knocking) to access pantry, retrieve storage items, etc. Guest access Our place is easily accessible, and a great place for a one-night stopover or to "chill" several days with family, friends, or in solitude. It is set back from a quiet gravel road 2.2 miles from Hwy 69 and only 5 miles from Interstate 35. Self check-in access is through the back door off the deck into the garage and down steps to entrance door. There is also ground level access at the back patio. Other things to note Because of liability concerns, we cannot allow swimming in our pond or playing on our backyard trampoline.
