The kitchen has everything you will need for cooking, including a fridge and a full oven, as well as an automated coffee machine ...and of course, we provide you with enough pods to get you started. You will also have a full sized fridge with a freezing compartment. The living room has a Roku TV/entertainment center, so you can easily connect your streaming services (incl. Spotify, Netflix, HBOmax, Prime, and many more). Don't have any streaming services? No problem, watch the featured free movies, some of the included free live TV hosted, or use YouTube on the entertainment center! From the kitchen, you will have direct access to a small paved patio area! The lower level of the patio is all yours to use. All amenities of daily life are within walking distance. A laundromat and dry-cleaner are on the same block, multiple grocery stores are in walking distance, and the popular Central Avenue and Palisades Avenue with a multitude of restaurants and shopping possibilities are under 5 minutes away. Even better, you have 2 wonderful parks in walking distance! Riverview Fisk Park, with its gorgeous skyline views of Manhattan, is only a 4 minute wa away. Washington Park, with its many sport courts, open-air gym, and gorgeous gardens, is only a 5-minute walk away. Or choose from one of the two fully equipped, indoors gym in walking distance - these are an approx. 5-minute walk away. Your security and safety are essential to us! We have, therefore, added a second heavy-duty house door so that even solo travelers can feel comfortable and at ease during their stay. Staying 6+ weeks? However, you will have it to yourself 99% of the time. The separate entrance has 2 doors. The first door (house door) opens into an entryway. Thr second door (apartment door) opens unto the apartment unit. The entryway is not technically part of your Airbnb space, but feel free to leave your shoes here, as 99% of the time no one else will enter this space (unless maintenance is needed) We want you to have the best experience! So, please feel free to reach out to us any time via Airbnb chat or text message Perched atop the New Jersey Palisades, you will be staying in the popular Riverview Arts District (Jersey City Heights) overlooking Hoboken and the Manhattan skyline! This neighborhood is becoming a go-to spot for new residents and tourists alike. A multitude of shops, a plethora of international restaurants, public transport, gyms, and parks are all a short walking distance away. Oh, did we mention: one of the best NYC skyline views is just a 4 mins walk away from our place! -- but don't tell anyone -- this view spot is a local secret ;) You can also enjoy yoga in the park, the farmer's market on Saturday and Sunday, and great coffee shops such as the iconic Modcup. Public transport (incl. to Manhattan) is just 1 block away. The bus takes 13 - 17 mins to Times Square (to the Port Authority Station), depending on traffic. For the "scenic" route, take the bus down to Hoboken (or take a walk if the weather is nice), and take the ferry into Manhattan. Or enjoy the waterfront and skyline views in Hoboken! Free public street parking is available in front of the house, only after you obtain a visitors pass from the city. 1. Going to NYC - Times Square Walk over to the "Congress Street at Webster Ave" bus stop. Take the bus 119 to NEW YORK (buy a ticket using the NJ Transit app). The bus will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York. Walk about 4 minutes to get to Times Square. 2. Going to NYC - World Trade Center Walk over to the "Ninth Street/Congress Station" lightrail station. Take Lightrail towards "West Side Avenue". Get off at Exchange Place station. Take the PATH train to the World Trade Center. We are flexible about stay length - feel free to send us an inquiry :) Please be aware that you are booking an apartment in the New York Metropolitan Area, not the suburbs! That means that during business hours, you might hear sounds from the surrounding buildings, traffic, and businesses, despite being in a quiet neighborhood. Our apartment is relatively quiet, but if you need a complete absence of sound, this might not be the right Airbnb for you. Night times are usually very quiet. Please make sure to read our house rules, as you are agreeing to them when you book. Our guest's safety and comfort are of the highest priority to us. To this end, we have cameras in the front and back of the building (outside), as well as inside the entryway areas (in front / outside of the Airbnb apartment). The inside of the Airbnb apartment is your private area, beginning at the apartment door. There is a house door BEFORE the apartment door that opens to a small entryway. The entryway is not technically part of your Airbnb space, but feel free to leave your shoes here, as 99% of the time no one else will enter this space (unless maintenance is needed).
