On boardwalk, beachfront! Two steps to the sand !

Beach & boardwalk is never crowded. We provide beach badges. Work from home here with our reliable and uncrowded WIFI. This is a two room apt. at the rear of our beachfront home. Full kit. and a second room with one queen size bed, smart T.V. Outside H.W. shower, patio area with natural gas grill, overlooking the beach. One on site parking spot. No events. The rental is for the exclusive use of the 1 or 2 mature adults contracted. The TOWN requires a minimum stay of 7 days. The space You can park your car and never use it until you leave. The beach is steps away. The town has a pizza/Italian food place, a bar/restaurant [The Anchor Inn], home made ice cream and home made donut store and a convince store all just about a few blocks away. The boardwalk is about one mile from end to end. It's almost required that you walk it everyday. Everyone smiles and says "good morning". The boardwalk is residential, no attractions. We have two kayaks you can use during daylight hours. The water is shallow near the beach but we do expect you to use the life vests we provide. We will respond to inquiries within hours. Next day for evening inquiries after 8 p.m. Guest access The patio area has a natural gas grill, picnic tables, afternoon shade and a few chairs. You may want to bring your favorite beach chair for the sand. Of course there is an inside shower but the outside shower with hot water is right out side your door. Park on site next to your entrance. One step up to the ground floor apt. Other things to note We like check ins and check outs to be on SATURDAYS in warm weather. Up until about May there may be some flexibility about check in and out. The area in front of the house has been used by photographers for family portraits and wedding photos. One of our guest recently got married on the beach in front of our house. The bride came out of the apartment, took about 25 steps, barefoot with a gown and was on the beach with the groom for their ceremony. If someone wanted a reception there is the Ocean Gate Yacht Club one block from our house. It is private but they do rent it for private functions. You need to provide your own catering. Or just one mile away, on the water, is the Water's Edge, Bayville. A large more formal setting. They host wedding receptions. The bay in front of the house is like a playground on the water. Lots of sailing, paddle boarding, kayaks, a few jet skies, power boats pulling kids on rafts. The River Lady is a real paddle boat out of Toms River. Search for them for reservations for lunch, dinner or just a ride. Good crabbing. There is a jetty in front you can crab off of any time and one block away a pier where you can crab after 5 p.m. WE HAVE 2 KAYAKS YOU CAN USE ANYTIME. We do not provide any food items. Just salt, pepper and cooking oil [spray Pam]. -NO PETS. We love animals and have 2 small dogs on the property but please do not ask for an exception to our "no pets" policy. We've had guests comment on how much they appreciate that policy. They just do not want to stay in a place were pets were allowed. -NO patries/events. The apt. is for the exclusive use of the 1 or 2 mature adults agreed to in the rental. Visitors. Our place is not to be used as a cabana. That means your friends use the beach then our facilities all day then go home at night. Just because they may not sleep here does not make it OK. The same applies to children. This is not a children's summer camp facility. Having a couple over to see the rental, maybe staying for bar-b-q for a little while is OK. The patio area, kayaks and shower may be used by the owners. -NO smoking -NO infants/children. Our place is NOT child proof. Sorry. As noted elsewhere, 7 night minimum and from Saturday to Saturday in warm weather. The 7 night minimum is required by the town to avoid wild one night or weekend parties. Never was a problem in this town but they want to avoid any issues. We have a few outdoor Ring security cameras. No cameras are inside.
