Looking for everlasting memories of your big island trip? Hawaiian Plantation Style home on a two acre property will provide you a real taste of big island living. Peaceful and relaxing environment. Fresh mountain air. Magnificent native foliage. Comfortable cool climate. Explore the island by kayaking in Hilo Bay. Complimentary rental of two ocean kayaks for the guests listed in the booking. Taxes are included in rental rate 17.75% total. GE & TA-155-977-6256-01 The space The duplex on a two acre property consists of three bedroom main house and one bedroom/guest house. Both units are currently being rented out. The units are separated by laundry room and carport - the shared space with other guests. The three bedroom house you'll be staying in (right side of the duplex) is bright with lots of natural sun light and breezy trade winds. Each bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with cotton sheets. A full size pull-out sofa in the living room sleeps additional two guests. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, electric range, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and other essentials for cooking. The bathrooms are furnished with clean towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer. Other amenities include Smart TV, washer and dryer. With many other choices out there, we appreciate you choosing to stay with us and we look forward to helping make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guest access The property is located between Hilo town (30 min drive) and the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (25 min drive), convenient to explore windward side of the island. The gate lock code and other check in instructions will be provided a day before your arrival. Other things to note Our water comes from the rain water catchment system, very common for this island. It is filtered by UV light system, but it may not be best for drinking. You may want to bring your own bottled water. The laundry room and carport are common area to be shared with other guests staying in one bedroom guest house. If you would like to reserve the entire house that can sleep up to 14 guests, there is a separate listing for that.
