There is a "work from home" area in the primary suite with a view of the harbor. It has an electric stand up, sit down desk with charging ports. There is also a wireless printer for your use. There are a couple of restaurants, beach at the end of the street within walking distance and harbor where you can take a snorkel, dive or whale watching boat trip from. The penthhouse comes with 1 parking spot. There is also street parking available. We recommend renting a car. We are centrally located between Kihei and Lahaina (closer to Kihei), and about 15 minutes from the airport. Maalaea is a quiet little harbor town. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Closest grocery store is about 15 minutes away. The airport is 15 minutes away. Sugar Beach is a 3 mile beach about a 5 minute walk from the condo. This is rarely crowded and is great for morning walks. You will see lots of turtles in front of the penthouse. The neighboring condo building has steps leading to the water for snorkeling out front. Not recommended for beginners. Warm, tropical trade winds can be strong and are one of the things we love about this place. We provide beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, cooler and beach umbrella. For sanitary reasons, we do not provide snorkel gear.
