Our family has been coming to this rambling Victorian summer home since the 1950s. We love its peace and quiet and beautiful views of Katama Bay and the ocean beyond. It is a short walk to the beach, where we enjoy sailing and kayaking. We also love walking the trails and reservation lands nearby. The house is roomy and can comfortably accommodate our children, grandchildren and friends and has a large open yard for playing games. The space Seven bedrooms, two full baths, two half baths and an outside shower. House constructed in 1905 includes original moldings, beams, doors, diamond pane windows and fireplaces (which we do not use for safety reasons), plus modern conveniences such as Comcast TV, high-speed Internet, a full kitchen, plus gas and charcoal grills. A great summer vacation escape for a large or multiple families. Other things to note The house is unheated so we only rent from late May through September. Pets are welcome but we require an additional $100 cleaning fee.
