Aloha and welcome to Molokai Island Retreat! Molokai Island Retreat is located on the highly desirable lush east end of Molokai (we are not on Maui) in the Wavecrest Resort. Our condo offers a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the ocean, with stunning vistas extending all the way to Maui, as well as views of the beautifully landscaped gardens of Wavecrest. We are close to spectacular beaches, hiking and waterfalls. It is a beautiful 13 mile drive from the town of Kaunakakai. The space We have recently remodeled our condo with updated kitchen cabinets, fresh paint, brand new ceiling fans, new decor, new Keurig coffee pot, linens and more, making it feel and look like a brand new condo! By personally owning and hosting our condo, along with the support of our dedicated island representative, we're able to offer an exceptional experience. We’re not a property management company or a large corporation—just two people who truly care about making your stay memorable. Our goal is for every guest to feel right at home, with all the comforts and personalized attention you deserve. We have furnished our condo with all you will need for a fun and relaxing stay: Cooler, Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, Sunbrella, Boogie Board, noodles, goggles and snorkeling gear. We also provide extra amenities you may have left behind such as razors, toothbrushes and toiletries. Features a fully stocked kitchen with combo pod/coffee maker, grinder, Brita filter, microwave, spices, condiments and oils. At Molokai Island Retreat, relaxation is our top priority. We invite you to unwind on the lanai, where sweeping ocean views and the gentle sway of coconut palms create a serene, tropical escape. Whether you're basking by the oceanfront pool, enjoying a match of tennis or pickleball, challenging friends and family to a game of shuffleboard, or lounging in the poolside cabana with a refreshing drink in hand, every moment encourages you to savor island living at its finest. Inside the condo, retreat to comfort and style as you relax and stream your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV (Netflix, provided for your enjoyment.) Need to get a little work done? We've got you covered with High-Speed Spectrum wireless internet – though please keep in mind, being on an island means the Wi-fi sometimes likes to go on vacation too! Guest access Access to whole condo, pool, tennis courts, shuffle board. Free parking with a guest pass (provided) on premises. Other things to note Please make sure you are intending to book on Molokai and not Maui. You can fly direct from either Maui or Oahu. Please note: There is no longer ferry service available to get to the island. The Hoolehua Airport is approximately 30 minutes from the condo, and the main town of Kaunakakai is 13 miles from the condo where you can find restaurants and groceries to stock up for your trip. There is also a small grocery store with a "snack shack" about 3 miles away. This is a third (top) floor condo, and there are no elevators at the resort. A paid washer and dryer are just outside the unit (takes coins or credit cards). Molokai has many roosters that often like to make their presence known at very early hours. If you are a light sleeper, please bring ear plugs. Molokai is a very rural island, so we do have occasional brief power outages and intermittent WIFI interruptions.
