The Taggart House

Welcome to The Taggart House. This stunning estate was constructed in 1850 by noted Stockbridge resident Henry Dwight Sedgwick. For over 150 years, several notables called The Taggart House home, including the psychologist: Erik Erikson. Serving as a Bed & Breakfast for much of the 2000s, The Taggart House was completely restored in 2014 by its current owners. The estate now serves as a vacation rental with The Ballroom used for special occasions only. The space The Taggart House is an open, warm home filled with cozy and communal places to celebrate. Guest access The entire house is accessible to the guests except The Ballroom, which is only used for an extra fee on special occasions.
