Unlike most Airbnbs in the area, Villa Gorilla is set on a very large property with lots going on the farm and without the need to ever leave if you don't want to as we are a high-end lodge. Help milk the cows, ride a horse, swim in the pool, harvest the days vegetables, fruit and flowers, feed the horses, join in the morning's yoga, have a massage, walk the extensive farm trails, go on a community walk with Mr Kariuki, meet with one of our artists-in-residence . . . we could go on and on . . . Villa Gorilla is available through Airbnb on a weekly or monthly self-catered basis only. Meals and a bar are available on request at set lodge rates. Guest access You will have full access to the 90 acres of Olepangi Farm, including the pool and pool house. The only area that will be off limits is the Party House of the main lodge and the river area just below it. Your children may join The Young Farmer's Club on days that it's running for making scarecrows, collecting eggs, milking cows, grooming horses, planting vegetables, building treehouses, on and on. George, the club leader, is a Houdini with children. If you are a guest of Villa Gorilla, it is possible to have one-off meals in the main lodge at extra, but reasonable rates. Also note, that daily cleaning services are available at an extra cost as are vetted nannies to help look after children. Other things to note Olepangi Farm is famous for its horses. If you're a keen rider, let us know. We've got some great community rides and access to the neighbouring conservancy for experienced riders. We also offer a community walk with our neighbour Mr Kariuki who will give insight to social history of the area. He's a bit of legend and very popular with guests.
