This renovated, pet-friendly home is the perfect spot to relax after a day of traveling. Enjoy a cozy countryside feel, while watching deer wander in the surrounding hay fields. Being located on 1 acre gives guests ample room for parking, letting their pets exercise, and roasting marshmallows over the backyard fire pit. This home is centrally located to world class hunting and fishing, hundreds of acres of public land, great restaurants and breweries, and just a few hours from Yellowstone. Single story house with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Pet friendly, with a kennel located in the backyard. The kitchen is fully stocked with every dish/utensil you need to cook and bake, along with tons of spices. We have a Keurig, popcorn, oatmeal, cereal, and a few other nonperishables. The kitchen also has a dishwasher. College kids do keep horses on this property. They come in the morning and evening to feed, and occasionally during the day if they need to haul the horses someplace. They’ve been instructed to be respectful and mindful towards guests. If they need to come very early or very late, they should message me and I’ll let you know! Please do not feed these horses. We have a dairy cow with 2 calves who also lives on the property and it's imperative that you DO NOT feed her anything. Thank you for understanding. You ARE more than welcome to pet her through the fence and go say hi to her. Please do not open the gate, go in the pen, or try to catch the calves to pet them. We will be on the property at least once per day to milk her and check on the garden in the summer. If you have dogs who are aggressive towards cats or livestock, this may not be the place for you. If you have severe cat allergies, this place will also not be the place for you. We do have a kennel in the mudroom, as well as behind the garage if you need to kennel your pet for any length of time. Cats do not currently live in the house, but they did at one point. The backyard also boasts a fire pit area with plenty of seating, and it's a great place for all ages to gather. The property is not fully fenced, so if your dogs wander they'll need to be on a leash or in the kennel. A large chain link kennel is behind the garage for your convenience, with nice grass and shade. The front of the house features a large parking area and driveway, so parking multiple large vehicles or trailers is not a problem. This home is at the end of a quiet road right outside of city limits. You won't experience much, if any, traffic.
