'Small house' cabin situated in the woods looking over the Tobacco river valley. Enjoy expansive vistas from the covered porch. A newly remodeled studio style space with a double bed, seating area, kitchenette with hot/cold water sink, propane camp stove, counter space and dishes for simple cooking. The cabin also has a shower, bathroom sink and RV style toilet. You can drive right up to the cabin via a private road through the woods. If it's privacy you want, drive right up to the cabin and enjoy your stay in peace. Your host is available if needed and can share ideas of places to visit in the valley. With 85% of our valley being public lands, the recreation opportunities are endless. If you'd like to add adventure to your stay, our cabin is located in the middle of Northwest Montana’s great outdoor playground. Wildlife of all sorts abound. Fishing, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, horseback riding, golfing, snowmobiling, and skiing are just a few of the many activities this area has to offer, along with Glacier National Park being only 90 minutes away. There is no public transportation but it is a short 4 mile drive to town on paved county road. There is plenty of room to park a vehicle or two at the cabin. Water for the cabin and neighboring home is provided by a ram pump, a type of system developed in the 1800's. Sitting out on the cabin deck you'll hear the 'heart beat' of the system.
