The Main floor living space is open concept with a private bedroom (queen bed) and full bath on this level. 2 sliding glass doors lead out to a wrap around covered deck with tables, chairs, gas grill, seasonal patio furniture that has 180 degree stunning views of the lake. The down stairs has an additional living space and 2 beds (full and twin). There is also a den/game area and 3/4 bathroom on lower level. The washer/drier are also located on this level in the bathroom. There is a sliding door off the 2nd living space that leads to another outside patio with more chairs and 180 degree view of the lake. The home is not suited for children under 4. Guests have access to the entire house. The house is located on a narrow one car wide road. The neighborhood is quiet family friendly. The home is the last one on a dead end street & is located 20 minutes north/west of historic Plymouth, 20 minutes from Atlantic beaches, 40 minutes from Cape Cod and just 1 mile from the MBTA Halifax commuter rail station/ Kingston line, which will take you right into Boston. Parking at the commuter rail lot is just a couple of dollars. A car is recommended or the walk to the commuter rail is about 20 minutes. The lake is warm, clean, refreshing, spring fed fresh body of water. Great for swimming, boating, fishing and anything else water related. It can freeze enough to ice fish and skate. Leaf peepers would enjoy the beautiful trees that surround the lake in full color during the fall. The home faces east west with a wonderful view of the sun setting. It is located at the end of a narrow road in a heavily wooded area. There is a good chance of spotting animals: frogs, deer, rabbits, snakes, varieties of birds including ducks, swans, hawks, eagles. Please do not feed them, especially the ducks and swans. Please remember with this type of setting there are bugs: mosquitos, spiders and ticks. From the trees: pollen, leaves, twigs and pine needles. The town is best described as a suburb of a suburb. It is a small town. Restaurants are limited with limited delivery. Grocery stores are about 10 minutes away and delivery options are available. There are car service options (Uber/Lift)but they may not be as readily available as a larger town or city. The home is centrally located between Boston and Cape Cod for those who want a place to stay in between both tourist areas & a little off the beaten path. The home is not suited for children under 4.
