Flyfish Lakefront A-Frame Cabin w Amazing Views

Prepare for this loft-style cabin to charm you. Its A-frame style is absolutely adorable, filled with cedar wood accents, and grandfathered in as one of the only properties left that's literally ON the water - lakefront. There is a covered top deck with fans for you to enjoy elevated, breezy, clear amazing views. And also a lower deck with green lights and a cleaning station - perfect for fishing at night. During the daytime, feel free to use our floaties to tie up to the deck and layout! The space The cottage is amazingly cozy - a perfect stay for 2 or a small group getaway. An A-frame style cabin filled with cedarwood accents and windows overlooking the lake. The feel is warm and cozy under heigh ceilings. It is loft style with a spiral staircase behind the living room extending to the master bedroom. The master overlooks the living space and has a full bath with a shower. The bottom floor has a bedroom, a full bath, living area, a kitchen/dining space and laundry. It also has a porch overlooking the lake for lovely scenic views. The bottom deck has fishing lights, Adirondack chairs, and a layout space. For more details... Laundry: washer/dryer, detergent Kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, cookware, utensils, wine opener & glasses, dishes, dish soap, and paper towels Living Room: firestick tv, 2 recliner chairs, pull-out sofa (size: double), couch, 2 side tables, coffee table, throw blankets, a large wall of windows overlooking the lake, and direct access to the back deck Bathroom 1: shower/tub combo, towels, toilet paper, soap, and first aid kit Bedroom: Queen bed, dresser, recliner chair, extra pillows, and a window unit Master Bedroom: King bed, dresser, firestick tv, recliner chair, side tables, private bath, and windows with lake view Master Bathroom: shower, towels, toilet paper, and soap. This is a great place for both winter and summer alike. We love wintering here. The summer is also wonderful bc of it's close proximity to lakefront bars (Sandbar and Bueche's). You truly can't get a better location when navigating the river by boat. Guest access The cottage is located on a small gravel street down the hill surrounded by other A-frame-style camps. You can fit 2-3 cars on the concrete parking space and also another car and/or truck & trailer on top of the hill. If you park on top of the hill it must be directly in front of our camp b/c the other spaces are for the neighbors. You may also tie up your boat to the bottom dock! Other things to note This place really is full-on WATER, WATER, WATER from almost every angle. Trust me when I say it doesn’t get any better if you are looking for a cozy getaway. This location is perfect for going to an LSU ballgame (~30 minutes) and enjoying all south Louisiana has to offer like food, plantations, antiques, alligators, fishing, bird watching, etc. Baton Rouge and Lafayette are both under an hour away.
