Home in Greenfield
Description
This super tidy, bright bungalow is a short drive to excellent food, coffee and music in downtown Greenfield and Turners Falls. The house is on a sweet, quiet street; neighbors are close by but the property feels very private. We love this spot because of its proximity to town but also to beautiful hiking trails, glorious swimming holes and the hills of southern Vermont. It's also convenient if you're in the area to visit private schools or the five colleges. The space This house is only used occasionally by one of our mother's, who has a very high standard for cleanliness and order. So the space is exceptionally neat, uncluttered and comfortable but also kid-friendly, because when she's here she is often hosting our three young children. It's an open layout, super efficient and cozy. The beds and linens are new and many guests have said the king mattress was the most comfortable thing they've ever slept on. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics you'll need for cooking, as well as a variety of teas and coffee. Guest access The entire house is yours when you rent it, with the exception of the attic. Guests may enter via the front door or the garage. Worth noting that the garage is on the small side and not available for parking your vehicle. There is a small backyard and deck chairs that guests are welcome to use. You may catch the next-door neighbor outside working in her garden. Don't worry about her climbing up on that ladder; she's quite spry and able.
