Set on an acre+ with a large yard & side porch, a 2 minute walk from shops & restaurants in town, & mins to Tanglewood. Featured in Diary of an Old Home Season 3 Episode 5 The space The home dates to 1850 and still has many of the original details - wood ceilings, slate fireplaces and beautiful carpentry, to name a few. These have been mixed with contemporary elements over a 2-year-long renovation to accommodate a more modern way of living. Other things to note There is a washer and dryer available for guest use in the sunroom. Thanks to balloon construction the house typically runs cool, but on the rare occasion of humidity or warmer temperatures it helps to use the fans in the bedrooms, and there are portable or in-window AC units available in all of the 6 bedrooms, and one portable AC for use in common areas downstairs. Commercial photo shoots or filming require a separate booking agreement. Guests who violate this rule will be asked to leave immediately without a refund of their overnight fees.
