Salem House

Comfortable in-law lower level- basement apartment in Salems Witchcraft Heights neighborhood. Quick 10 minute ride to downtown Salem. Less than 2 miles. We do our best to provide every amenity you may need. :)Well behaved, friendly, quiet pets are welcomed. We welcome any questions and will respond usually immediately. Thank you for your interest in our home. :) The space The space, is a good sized area living room with two couches , and cable TV. The Queen size air mattress is in the living room with a provided air pump. If the air mattress is needed please let me know and I can provide the sheets. Bedroom has a full size bed. The bed comes made, with freshly clean linen. I make up the bed as a courtesy for my guests prior to check in. Please note I am not a professional bed maker. Extra blankets are in the bin in the closet. The kitchen area, has a mini fridge with a small freezer, sink, coffee maker, coffee, creamers, and a dining room table that has seating for 4. The bathroom- I have provided as many toiletries I could think of that you may forget, it’s there for you to use. I provide freshly clean towels, face cloths, hand towels. I love my unit downstairs, and I think it’s a wonderful place to rest, while in between exploring the witch history in Salem, or taking day trips into Boston. You don’t have brand new furniture. But it’s a clean, safe,spacious area for you to rest or hang out. I take this into consideration with my pricing, I don’t have an obscene cleaning fee, or have many outlandish fees and it is competitive or cheaper than similar Airbnb’s. Becoming a host has been a pleasure and I truly enjoy it. My guests privacy is something I greatly value. If you want to meet, yay.. if not I’m ok with that too! It’s not uncommon for me to not meet many of my guests for scheduling reasons... well now that I’ve detailed, everything, we truly hope you enjoy your stay :) Guest access Guest have access to their private living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It is an in- law lower level suite with private entrance. There is a light door off the kitchen, where my laundry is, and storage, that area is off limits to guests unless they need to do laundry. I will sometimes be in that area doing laundry. I live upstairs with my family, there is a back door upstairs that separates our space. Upstairs is a sunroom converted to a playroom for my daughters that they sometimes use, though they prefer to have their toys strewn about the rest of my house. You will more than likely hear them playing. Laundry services are available at request. Other things to note **As previously mentioned, well behaved HOUSE BROKEN pets are welcomed. There is a private, primarily fenced in yard for Fido to run about. 🐾 pets should not be left unattended. (Some circumstances can be discussed.) Salem is a pretty pet friendly town, if the pet must be left in the apartment, please use the crate, and do not put on carpet) Depending on the circumstances, I am open to allowing more than the 4 guest limit, it all depends on my guests if they are up for it. I do have a full bed, couch, and a queen air mattress. I MAY be able to provide an additional air mattress if needed. Please feel free to message with any questions at all.
