Cherry St. Historic Home - Blue Rm

Blue Room has a queen bed for up to a 10 day stay. 5 blocks to downtown Northampton (Amtrak/Peter Pan), 15 min. stroll to Smith, & 5 min. to PVTA local bus stop. The Blue Room and shared full bath are upstairs, and guests are welcome to spend time in the kitchen/living room, or explore the house. AC in bedroom and downstairs. I have 2 guest rooms, and other friends, family and artists often stop by during the day. My cat, Blue and I are the full-time occupants. Includes on-site parking. The space Home was built in 1785, moved to current location around 1840. I am the seventh owner in 230 years (!) and I have been slowly restoring it. We have a small yard, ample parking, screened in back porch. Guest access This room is on the second floor (as is the main bathroom), and the stairs (being so old) are steeper than normal. Bathroom is shared with other guests. You will have full use of kitchen/living room, and the screened in back porch when weather is nice. You are welcome to look around, there is always some project or another happening. We do have a washer/dryer in the basement if you let us know if you want to use it. During your stay I will generally be around, but am happy to give you your space once you are situated, also to point you to our many great local restaurants and entertainments. I do have a cat, I keep him out of the guest rooms for the most part, but he is around in all the public spaces. We will provide coffee or tea in the morning if you express interest. Other things to note There is a shared full bath upstairs, and a half bath downstairs. We all try and be respectful of other people needing the bathroom, and find out if anyone needs a shower etc. at a particular time. There are occasional cat and dog visitors, we try to keep the hair to a minimum. We are a carnivorous household, and welcome all eating / lifestyle types!
