The 1736 house

What better way to experience historic Newburyport than to stay in a colonial house built in 1736! We are within walking distance of the downtown shops, museums & to several excellent restaurants. The beach, fishing and boating are only 2-3 miles away. We're also a short train ride away from historical Salem, MA. With so many antiques & collectibles in the house, no children under 12 years old are allowed. The space Absent the kitchen, the guests have access to the entire house. Guests have a private bathroom & entrance. This historic house is quaint & cozy with wide-pine floors and a fireplace that doesn't work but look nice. The private bathroom has a deep tub with a shower, so you will need to step in and out of the tub when showering. With the tub so deep, guests can also take a relaxing bath too! The bedroom also comes with a small refrigerator & and air conditioner for those that need it for during summer months. The bedroom has a large TV with HBO & Netflix. The bedroom is also located on the 2nd floor so you will need to climb a set of stairs, approximately 20 steps. Guests also have private access to 2 living rooms on the 1st floor, one of the living rooms has a large Flat screen TV for your enjoyment. Kitchen and dining rooms are not available. Guest access Guests have off-street parking. At least 1 parking spot is usually available in front of the house. Guests can walk to downtown. It take approximately 12 minutes to get there. During your stay Host is available on site for questions. Emails and texted messages are also welcomed. Other things to note A dog & cat live in the house when there are no guests, so anyone with a pet allergy should probably not select this unit. Also no children under 12 years old are allowed. We have too many antiques & collectibles in the house that may get broken/damaged by young children.
