Hi, I’m Clay and I love to meet new people and have traveled all over the world for the past 20 years working with bands. This journey, along with my new wife Joy, has lead to us becoming Airbnb hosts. Our eclectic, cozy, charming, spacious and right on the Bayou listing is a place we are sure you’ll love. Large picture windows for gazing at the bayou let in lots of natural light. Fully handicap accessible! Not suitable for children. Cleanliness and hospitality are our specialties! No pets!! 5🌟 The space Bayou Long Beard is located on the bayou and adjacent to the campus of the University of Louisiana @ Monroe and distracts from the fact that you’re right inside the city! Perfect for Alumni and guests wanting to attend events on campus or just see our neat little city. The word unique is insufficient. Welcome to Bayou Long Beard! While this property can sleep up to 5, please note that there’s only ONE king bed, one single leather couch that has bedding, one pull out sofa that can sleep two small humans or one full sized human and only ONE bathroom. Make sure your crew will feel comfortable in these accommodations! Guest access We have a beautiful back porch and dock that is shared with the main house. As far as being handicap accessible, there is even a roll in shower! We have accommodated our friend with ALS and he and his wife stated they have never stayed anywhere this accommodating to them!! Also, easy handicap access to the dock and garden area! Other things to note The whole house is a very open floor-plan and is wheelchair suitable. Nearby are waterfront restaurants, a beer brewery, a cigar shop, coffee shops, paddle board rentals, airport, shopping mall, many boutiques, Beidenharn Museum & Gardens, Coca-Cola Museum, Antique Alley & MORE! We may be up for a pontoon boat ride with you if we are available! Just ask! Don’t forget we now have UBER and LYFT in our area so you can be chauffeured around if you so desire! Absolutely no parties, events, wedding parties, photo shoots, videographers, or extra guests besides who you booked for without approval of owners. Extra fees may apply.
