Erik’s Ranch is a nonprofit organization that offers upscale lodging run by young adults with autism. They are tour guides, sous chefs, ski instructors, horse grooms, and more. All for whom meaningful careers are scarce. You are part of the solution. When you stay with us, you’ll be in a beautiful house just 45 minutes from Yellowstone while providing living accommodations, social opportunities, and meaningful work for our members. Welcome to Erik's Ranch. Where vision knows no bounds. BEFORE BOOKING, please note, we have a strict check-in window of 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. This is to ensure your safety because the area has spotty cell service and to ensure that you will be navigating while it is still daylight. The Cargill-Earl Guesthouse at Erik's Ranch is privately situated on 230 acres of land, Off-The-Grid, with 360-degree, unobstructed panoramic views. Luxuriate in peace, solitude and privacy where the sunrise and sunset guide your days. We want our guests to feel they are living in the extraordinary Montana landscape, with the protection and comfort of living indoors, thus our glass houses with entire walls that open to the great outdoors. Erik's Ranch/Dry Creek rates include lodging. From November to April, enjoy snowshoeing, llama encounter, indoor horsemanship, and Keep Calm & Brush On for a small extra fee. From May to October, our Chimney Rock Hike is included in the rate and you can enjoy trail rides, llama encounter, rafting, fly fishing, and a sunset grizzly excursion for an additional fee. Erik's is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and families. COVID-19 Response: Just like you, all of us at Erik’s Ranch & Retreats are working hard to keep everyone comfortable and safe. You can rest assured that our houses are cleaned spotlessly after check outs, and that our crews are safely masked and gloved. We are taking every precaution to keep our staff, members, and guests at ease during this uncertain time. Here is what we are doing between stays, as a commitment to our guests comfort: 1. Sanitizing all hard surfaces including handles and floors. 2. All bedding—including comforters cleaned prior to each visit. 3. Will provide you with disinfectant on site so you can design your own comfort. Our concierge staff is excited to welcome you. Please note that check-in is between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. Unfortunately, if you arrive after this, you will need to find lodging elsewhere for the evening and a refund will not be given. During your stay, please be highly aware of your surroundings. Montana has a wide range of wildlife, which includes rattle snakes, bear, wolves, big cats, elk, and deer. Do not leave food out or doors open and unattended. We do not offer housekeeping throughout the stay. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. We do not provide refunds for inclement weather and we have a strict no refunds policy during peak season, which is June through September. Erik's Ranch is 40 minutes from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, 20 minutes from Livingston, 40 minutes from the North Entrance into Yellowstone, and one hour from Bridger Bowl. A 4WD vehicle is required to access The Cargill-Earl Guesthouse. This is necessary because of the bumpy and muddy roads. There is free parking on the property. At Erik's Ranch, we cater to outdoor enthusiasts, skiers, hikers, stargazers and everyone in between with endless recreational activities available to you during your stay. There are tours led by young adults with autism, nearby skiing at Bridger Bowl, Yellowstone National Park, hiking near Gallatin National Forest, world-class trophy fishing in the Yellowstone River, Chico Hot Springs, shopping and dining in old Western town Livingston, and scuba diving or ice climbing at Hyalite Canyon!
