This 2nd floor apartment is located in a 3 story home built in 1888. It is situated in a prime location with a short walk to bus and about a mile to train to NYC. You can walk to restaurants, bars, convenience store, Whole Foods. Parking available on the property. All linens are sanitized extensively to ensure you an extremely clean experience--you can flop on any bed and be assured that no one else did the same. I want to treat you the way I would like to be treated--with kindness and care;). UPDATE APRIL 2020: Before the pandemic, I went above and beyond to clean, disinfect and sanitize the entire apartment including the linens and towels (these go through a 4-hour process). I was already doing many of the things that the CDC recommends. My hope was to always attract people that want an extremely clean environment for a solid value--a person that understands what it takes to offer quality and not the person who just wants the cheapest price. SAFETY & TRANSPARENCY: While I don't want to be nosey, I do want to avoid any reservations that result in negative outcomes. I do not want any parties, or the use of my apartments for hook-ups, or illegal activities. If you are not comfortable telling me the nature of your stay, then this is not the space for you. This apartment is rented as 2 bedroom with the option to add a sleeping mattress (either twin or queen) that can be set up in the livingroom. There is a king Size bedroom and full size bedroom. You may use the backyard based on availability. (No smoking on property--no cigarette butts left on the ground.) There is a washer/dryer in the apartment which is only for guests staying 7 days or longer. ***Please note that you cannot rent this apartment just because you want to do your laundry. Excessive use of the machines are subject to additional charges.*** If you are facing the front of the house, the entrance is on the left side of the house facing the teal blue house. If you park in the back driveway, and facing the back of the house, the entrance is on the right side of the house (both facing West). I am available to you as you see fit. This home allows you to walk to Whole Foods if you want to pick up groceries and fresh produce, restaurants/bars, the Museum and shopping all along Bloomfield Avenue. You can walk to anything and of course getting in and out of NYC is either 700 steps or about 1 mile down the block for the bus or the train. There is Uber/Lyft which I recommend over our taxi services. NJ Transit takes you in and out of NYC. Look for the Montclair/Boonton LIne.
