Atchafalaya Oaks

Enjoy a relaxing stay in the guest suite of my home. Please note that AirBnB’s categories have changed, and I have limited control over some of the property descriptions. The space is an actual entire private suite: living room, hallway, bathroom, and bedroom. This space is all yours and NOT shared; it’s separated from my part of the house by two closed/locked doors. Close to our Historic District. Lawrence Park, Atchafalaya River, shopping, and restaurants and dining are just a short walk away The space Atchafalaya Oaks is a private guest suite inside my circa1877 home. The suite includes a living room equipped with streaming tv, wifi, and kitchenette. There is a full private bathroom and the bedroom holds a full sized bed with dresser and closet space available. There is a futon/sofa in the "living room" of the suite. Furnished in a comfortable cottage style so you can kick up your feet and relax. AirBnB lists me as being near a lake because of their search algorithm. The lake is across town, but that’s only a 5-10 minute drive in Morgan City! lol Guest access Enjoy complete privacy - you have your own entrance to the Guest Suite. This means you may come and go as you please. While I want you to consider my home your home away from home, please note that this IS my home. You are welcome to have visitors during your stay, but the suite is not a party pad. If that’s what you’re looking for, my place is not for you. Other things to note In all honesty, if you're a light sleeper, give this some thought. I am located right on the main railroad line for BNSF, at a crossing, and we do have train traffic throughout the day and night. Most of my guests have said they don't even hear the trains. The guest suite is on the back side of the house, so the bedroom is a little insulated from the street and tracks.
