This cabin is nestled by the bridge across from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire ring. The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you! The river view from this cabin is amazing. If you enjoy the outdoors, you will not be disappointed! This cabin is close to Keosauqua, less a mile from the new ball complex on the west edge of town. It is located off J40 before the Pittsburgh bridge. Multiple shops, restaurants and hunting, fishing, running, hiking and other activities await you in Van Buren county! When you Program the location into your GPS, make sure it takes you to the west edge of Keosauqua. If it takes you to Bentonsport, it is not correct. Location is west of Keosauqua on Franklin street, which turns into J40. The cabin is on the right (second cabin with black roof) BEFORE the bridge at Pittsburgh headed west. Stop ahead and grab your groceries or anything else you may want for your stay. There is a local grocery store, Dollar General (with REDBOX), gas stations and restaurants just a few miles away in Keosauqua, but many people prefer to grab their extras before the get to the area. Cell phone reception is spotty (at best) at the cabin, but better in town. There is now WiFi, as well! Also please note that the driveway is steeper. During winter months all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is best!
