Windward at the Beach is a boutique hotel featuring studios, efficiencies and, suites (some with full kitchens). Located in Beach Haven, at the heart of LBI (Long Beach Island), NJ, this historic mansion has morphed into an eclectic beach house, complete with a surf & beach vibe. Just 60 steps to the sand, and a block from the center of town, location is key for your beach vacation. Windward at the Beach has several common areas including an enclosed wrap around porch area, with kids' corner and library, three outside patios ( with umbrella tables, gas grills, and outdoor lounging areas), and private outdoor showers. This efficiency unit sleeps up to six and includes two full beds, plus one hi-riser pull-out-pop up bed (makes two twins), full apartment size kitchen (mini refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishes, utensils, etc.), large flatscreen, DirecTV, wi-fi, air conditioning, private bath w/shower, and all linens. Please note, when open, the hi-riser takes up much of the room and is best suited to small children. The unit is conveniently located on the first floor, just off the enclosed wrap-around porch for easy access to the porch, patio & beach. An interior room, the unit has sealed windows (lots of light) and central air conditioning. This is a great room for families who would like to enjoy the porch, yet be close to sleeping children. Send the kids to bed while you enjoy a book on the veranda. It is also convenient to the outside patio and Atlantic St. door for a quick exit to the beach! Sleeps up to six people. The space This spacious efficiency, with kitchenette, can sleep up to six people, and offers room to lounge and catch some TV on the large flatscreen. It opens up to the enclosed wrap around porch so you can easily put your little ones to bed and be close by. It has two full sized beds, plus a hi-riser (makes two twins), flatscreen TV, breakfast bar, kitchen (oven, stove, mini, microwave, all dishes & utensil-fridges, and private bathroom with shower. It also has zone/split air-conditioner/heater with personal temperature adjustments. Guest access This is a self-contained unit in a boutique hotel. Guests are welcome to access all of the common areas of the property. Other things to note We hope you love the beach as much as we do. We offer complimentary beach badges and sand toys. We have a foot wash at every door, and outside showers for the ultimate beach experience.
